Every summer we take take two Alaska cruises starting in Vancouver and ending at our home on the Kenai Peninsula near Seward, AK. We have learned much about Alaska cruises and the cruise lines that take us there. Each one is similar but at the same time very different too. Currently there are 8 major cruise lines sailing to Alaska from ports in Seattle, Vancouver, San Francisco and multiple places in Asia. Alaska cruises from Seattle are typically round trip 7 and 14 day voyages. Cruises departing from Vancouver are a mixture of both one way and round trip cruises.
